A practical tool for self-reflection.
This site offers a simple, accessible personality preference questionnaire inspired by the widely known four-dimension type framework: Extraversion–Introversion, Sensing–Intuition, Thinking–Feeling, and Judging–Perceiving.
The result is designed to help you reflect on patterns in how you direct your energy, take in information, make decisions, and approach structure. It is not a psychological diagnosis and should not be used for medical, employment, or other high-stakes decisions.

What you can do here
Start with the free 40-statement questionnaire, or go directly to the directory if you already have a type you want to explore. Each profile discusses preferences, relationships, working styles and possible growth areas. English and Japanese versions share the same layout and underlying scoring rules, while the visible explanations are written in the selected language.
The compatibility tool lets you compare any two of the 16 types. Its numbers are illustrative editorial scores rather than relationship research results. The pair guides are intended to help people discuss different needs and habits; they cannot establish whether a specific relationship will succeed.
How to read our educational content
Type descriptions simplify a much broader range of human behavior. Treat a description as a possible pattern to check, rather than evidence about a person you have not spoken to. Your interests, experience, culture and circumstances may explain more about a particular choice than a four-letter label.
Our articles distinguish personality frameworks, explain the limitations of type comparisons and discuss the context of published statistics. Distribution figures depend on the sample and assessment used. They should not be treated as a census of a country or a ranking of the value of different people. Where public figures are discussed, published statements and community guesses are labelled separately.
Transparency and corrections
The methodology page explains the response scale, the four preference totals and the meaning of a close score. This site does not claim that its independent questionnaire has clinical validation. We do not use the result to make employment or treatment decisions, and we do not recommend that visitors use it that way.
If a description is unclear, a link fails or you notice a factual problem, use the Feedback button to identify the page and explain the issue. Feedback is optional and separate from questionnaire answers. Avoid including sensitive personal information in a comment. The privacy policy explains the distinction between answers processed in the browser and information submitted through optional features.
